I like the AKA evo rims since you can use the inner stiffener or without it...it does make a difference!

Always on any 1/8 gas or electric it's good to have front & rear shock shafts & hinge pins...I would say those are a must & then go from there...

I use a novak 2050 on my idoor track and it works very well. I have a 1950 novak that I used before that also work great. In my opinion either would work good. I have a buddy using a 2650 novak and he loves it . I'm thinking of getting a 2650 stator and trying it out.

That would be the reason that i couldnt find it in the manual. 1. wrong manual, 2. wrong thread....makes sense now

do you have a P# for it? didnt see it on A main.
thanks for the tip.

does it need to be shimed? because the link sits higher?

Sorry I was referring to Tekin motors. But yea the Tekin 1900 or 2050 would both be fine. The 2000 is designed for truggy

I took the summer off. In my second race back with this buggy I win the A Main. I see a new generation of the buggy is out already. I won't be buying it any time soon. I like mine just the way it is. Always a little excessive wear in the rear coupler & dogbone, but I just buy another one. I am on my third and I have had the buggy since launch. Is the main difference the angled diff box and should I get and install it? Your thoughts?

Angled gear box and straight cut gears are definitely the most worthwhile upgrades. really makes the line drivetrain more efficient and quiet.

Was that you up front checking out? That front car was way more planted than anything else on the track through the corners, and either just had a lot more traction on acceleration too, or was running a faster motor.

The differential gear set for both generations look the same on A Main. They must be selling only one type.

Huge ups to Protc3 on here. I just bought his EB48 he recently had up for sale. I just received it and its super nice!! He takes care of his stuff. I can't wait to run this car. The only thing I may change on it is to put +2mm hubs on to stabilize it a little more. What do you guys think?

Thanks buddy. I like to keep my stuff nice. I never tried those hubs. You can try lengthening the wheelbase to tone it down a bit. It will make it a little more stable. Depending on your track, changing the springs to green front and red rear will make it a little more stable. I like my car agressive but planted.
