Again I don't have a Serpent 811, but I am interesting in buying one. If these SP motors don't fit I'll be buying another buggy. I will see if anyone local has one I can test fit a a 2100 or 1800kv.
edit: I did call Serpent America (Desoto?) and whoever answered said the car was designed to fit all 1/8 motors up to 71mm.

Anyone had issues with breaking the shock shafts at the piston mounts? I run webbed bladders and think that might have something to do with it. 3rd rear shaft i have broke in that manner. This one actually ruined my rear shock body when it broke...

Hmmm never broke any webbed or not. Are the bottom shock eyelets screwed on all the way far enough? Hence it would push it into the bladder.

Very soon a new shaft with a nut will be available and we won't have the issue anymore.

Those o-rings shouldn't be enough to change shock limiting with the droop settings. I will have to verify to be sure and post it up.

That normally happens when some hits you from behind or you crash and land down on the actually shock. It didn't happen on the 1.0 because it was impossible for the shock to come in contact with anything. Also make sure you are not running full droop or it has a greater chance on happening.

yes plz.

I have had this car since early may, the ONLY thing i have broke are shock shafts. That new shaft would fix what IMO is the only weakness this car has. any eta? or pics? or other information you probably can't give out yet?
