Really? Pros drive what they are paid and told to drive/promote. That's the way it has always been and it will never change. The 4.1 is an Associated product through association (no pun intended) which is why pro/team drivers are running the kit they are packaging and peddling with their kit.

Better get one , promise you its the funnest Ae ever ...

drives like your B44 , have to hold the gas on a little more and be smooth ...
No longer have to throw it hard into the turn and wait to get pointed & nail the gas .

You let the Centro do all the work instead ...

Makes it easier to go fast with not to mention jumping better and landings are sweet .

I drove it tonight on dusty & bald tires and still drove great ,
going just as fast with the Centro as I did
with my B44 in GOLD CUP 1st day racing C4 .

forgot
Centro has incredible precise rear arm mounts , no play at all & silky smooth...
You keep making me want the C4.2, I'm struggling to convince myself I don't need it. Girlfriend is going to kill me.

Do you know if Scott will have any in stock in the next few weeks?

199.00$ at trcr
saddle pack is dialed, shorty sucked for me and a bunch of other people. maybe a setup will work in the future, not the hot ticket right now though.

theres no reason to wait, this is the new car right now, everybody has been waiting and here it is... a new platform and a midmotor one at that. a new car with a totally different driving style.! if you were to die tomorrow your tombstone would read
"he never even got to try the new AE platform..." live in the now

haha sweet, hopefully I start seeing some decent shorty packs show up in the used case there. I will probably be getting a B4.2 tomorrow night.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say what will be released in 6 months to a year will be a B4.3 or a dedicated rear-motor B5, with Centro supplying the necessary kit for a mid-motor conversion. That way AE can use the dedicated rear-motor car to spin off RTR variants (to keep the lights on and the doors open) while the Factory Team kit can be used as-is or with the Centro conversion. Will be very interesting!

I heard a rumor that the next vehicle will be a front wheel drive with a viscous electronic differential with on the fly tuning (requires a 4 channel radio) with dual horizontal front motor's and will require the new square pack. Should be interesting to watch this thing evolve. LoL!

Gonna have to disagree with you there. This is a 3rd party Aftermarket conversion for the B4 and is not the next iteration of the B4 from Associated.

I can guarantee you that when Associated releases their next 2WD Buggy it WILL NOT have an accompanying box that dawn's branding that isn't Associated. It will indeed be a complete kit that is either Rear or Mid motor capable, Rear motor only AND possibly a purpose built Mid motor kit as a separate offering, though I highly doubt Associated would produce a kit that doesn't offer the option for either configuration considering most of their competitors' kits do offer the option. What would be even better is to produce individual MM and RM vehicles that carry identical price points but are also sold as a set at a slightly discounted price as opposed to buying separate.

If I had the capital I'd design a MM kit from the ground up in a whole new way that would likely change how MM is looked at altogether.
