Hey Ken, is Richard N. soldering it for you? I'll finally be back at the track next Friday so I'll check out your car. I'm a big fan of tidy wiring too.

No, I'm having Damon wire it for me. I haven't seen Richard in months. And okay cool.

tried the mip system today but was kind of confused that the spring and nut did not want to go down all the way. the kit comes with 2 female outdrives, regardless I ran it without the spring and it was just fine but gonna give mip a call on Monday and ask if there is something I'm doing wrong which I know I'm not lol. but it is a good kit and noticed more "punchiness" and acceleration

You will need to replace the carbide & diff rings when they wear out .
Can flip the rings and use the other side .

Suggest switching out the carbide diff balls for the Ae ceramics .
The ceramic will not wear out or need replacement even after months of racing with .

Ceramic diff balls are awesome as they last forever but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone that is relatively new to ball diffs as they have a very narrow window of adjustment and are very hard to set correctly. Definitely for the more experienced diff builder. It took me three times of wasting a lot of money on the ceramic balls before I finally figured out of set them correctly. Just a word of advice. Wild cherry is correct in that they are way better than the stock carbide balls though, the ball diff I have in my car is the same diff I've had in it since early June and it feels exactly the same as the day I built it.

I know I read it somewhere but can't find it.

Can I run a gear diff in my B4.2 without changing the case or any other mods?

If not then can someone tell me all that I need to start running a gear diff?

Thanks.

The associated gear diff drops right in a B4.2.

And would you have the part number or are all the gear diffs the same. I assume it is the SC10 gear diff but I do not want to order the wrong thing.

Also why I am at it what is a good starting point for OCRC if you know that track if not it is a high bite clay indoor track.

Thanks.
