Don't cut your self short ..
Your experience and input is just as important as mind or anyone else.

Seen those 4 holes being used by Kurt on the 4w , the extra hole help adds pack I believe....

Landing with the 4w B44 extra weight could use the pack..

Oh I'm just being honest. Suspension tuning is not a strength of mine...at all. I just don't have the opportunity to try different things as my track time is very limited. I was looking for increased pack as I am racing outdoors on a large 1/8 track with some big jumps but it's rough also so you want the rebound speed. I thought that was the point of the AVID 2+2 pistons. Been thinking about trying the three hole tapered pistons everyone is talking about but we got rained out yesterday so I think I'm done until indoor seasoned starts at the end of Oct. yes I'm saying that the next time I get I run my B4.2 could very well be Oct 27th. That stinks.

I just bought the PSM tower as well , Pretty sweet. I took 2 limiters out though to help with the droop because of the size of the tower.

Default Reedy Rotor

I have a motor question.

I have a Mach2 17.5, Can I put a MOD rotor in this to make it faster? Is this possible or am I completely off?

If so which rotor do I need to get?

Thanks

As far as the carbon shorting out on the battery. I really don't want to run it to far forward. So I will probably cut down a stack batt. Strap since there is more clearance.
Thanks for the input guys.
Or shorten your wires and turn your battery around to where the leads connect to the rear of the motor.

All the magic is in the stator now with brushless.

As stated above, the stator is the key speed component in brushless motors. There is a difference, though, from a standard stock rotor to a standard mod rotor. The rotor magnet has an inner diameter of 7mm in stock vs 5mm in mod.

You can run a mod rotor and it will make a difference in power (especially if you use the larger outer diameter mod rotors), but that will make it illegal for stock racing (obviously). If you want mod speed, just get a mod motor. They can be had for dirt cheap on the B/S/T forums.

Anyone know of a captured ball set that is a direct bolt on for the b4? Considering changing over to them
