do you have those backwards? reversed? our straight is probably 90 ft. thanks for the suggestion.

Really going to depend on the motor.

I've run everything from 75/32 to 66/33 on the same track, with the same brand motor, just different rotor strengths.

Been running the same motor with 66/33 since April. Best gearing I've ever had. Still has plenty of punch and it's a rocket down the straights.

Default Reedy Sonic Motors

as mention in my first post....the new Reedy Sonics. can we up the timing on a 13.5T like we can with a 17.5T? do they like the same kind of treatment? out of the box it seems less than snappy! i ran anything from a 81/24 ratio to a 81/27 with stock timing. i upped the timing to 30 degrees and it seemed to wake up.

Hey guys sorry to stray topics, but i was wondering about the chassis stiffeners that vision rc makes. I made some similar ones that are 60g. How much do the vision ones weigh, and what happened when you used them. What is the advantage of using them? I race indoor on ozite high bite carpet, and have a b4.2. 17.5 blinky

Well actually u want a little chassis flex, it had durability, but doesn't harm the suppension, day with the normal chassis and just get carbon parts

most of my flex is around the rear clip. So I am not sure those chassis stiffeners would help much.

I've gotta say I like the new hubs more than the Yaiba.
  1. They're blue
  2. They have grub screws

I will have to get some of those for my stock B4.2 (just put the Yaiba on the mod B4).

So can you get to the C-hub location with the exotek hubs now? I thought Yaiba hubs were the only ones that you could achieve both locations with? (heard you had to shave down the exotek hubs for c-hub locations?)
