If what is the part number?
Currently you can move the hubs forward or backwards, change the offset with different outdrives, and change the angle with the hinge pin holders. There aren't different degree hubs available from Tekno currently. If they have plans to make some, they'll have to chime in about them, but there aren't part numbers currently. If you're seeing it on current setup sheets, it is likely referring to the offset outdrives, which are TKR5071B and TKR5071C.

I'm gonna run it till it breaks....probably be in the "A" when finally get up front, 1 second left, 15 feet from the line.lol atleast ill know what to fix
thanks for your help tho
So i finally figured it out. My ring gear had a very small crack in it. Now it has a very large crack/break in it. It was coming out of a valley of the tooth, it had to be small because i just didn't see it. It wouldnt repeat all the time. I replaced the bearings in the rear diff housing again friday. Had a trophy race saturday, I was worried she wouldn't make it but i went for it anyway. It wasnt as bad as "probably be in the "A" when finally get up front, 1 second left, 15 feet from the line" I was sitting third after the first heat, start of the second when she broke. I was super loose and sloppy in the rear. Now this buggy has been out for what, a year now? I bought from tekno on release day. Ive ran the crap out of this thing every single week. She has taken it with a big smile, asking for me for more. Gust an FYI, Ive been chasing this problem for while now. I would have never thought it was a crack in the ring gear, I have never broke one like this....or ever. Just a fluke.
Now i get to talk to the account (wife) and request money for updated diff, pinion, and gearbox!!! Then in a month explain how my kit is just too worn out and need a .2 for the fall season, while i secretly rebuild her better/fast/stronger and ready for outdoor.....O my, this is a blessing in disguise

+1 Losi and AE were the dominate buggy at my local. After me and one other guy picked these up, Tekno has about half the field, maybe a little less. What i don't get is how these diehard's will not give up on the Losi 2.0+AE8.2 . One how they are better or on the same level. I don't get it, they just......They just love to loose i guess

I don't have any problems beating all the Techno Buggys on our local track with my 8.2 ever think its more about the driver, then the setup?

Im sure it is. You give mayfield (pro) a ecx revenge E and im sure he would lap me with a given 2 lap lead. Finding a buggy that is the easiest to drive to your style is a big part, I think. Better buggys on the market then the die hards(average) love to admit. Thats what i find funny. If it was just the buggy. I would own Kyosho, Durango, AE, Serpent. Ive been beat by all of them BUT If it was just drive only, he shouldn't have been faster with my tekno then his 8.2

If you dont have any problems beating the tekno buggys (that would make me think always), that would mean that are not very good drivers, and I would brag about that

To me at least, the true test of the vehicle is if when you switch to it from another, does your experience improve? Do your lap times improve? Etc

Remember plenty of people back in the heyday of 1/10 Gas Truck feeling lost with there AE RC10GTs when the AE hotshoe at the time was cleaning up with his in comparison to the Losi's. Got so bad that it was darn near like watching slash spec, just with Losi's. By the time RC10GT2 came out, gas truck was dead.

Then what are you doing creeping in here? Apparently you may have some interest in the Tekno

For those that are having trouble finding a setup for bumpy, blown out, hole filled tracks do yourself a favor and pick up the Fioroni shock pistons. I had tried several other pistons and some made the car a tiny bit better, others made it a lot worse. The Fioroni's were a BIG change for the better. I was bale to go back to the stock springs with no worry of bottoming out on big flat landings and it was so much more stable, especially in the rough. This was with the Door setup with the exception of the shocks. I ran 40w oil in the front and 30w oil in the rear.

One of the local fast guys here runs an AE car. He is very quick. I let him run my Tekno and he went 6 seconds faster over the run. His explination, my car had tons of steering but was very stable. His fast laps were the same but he was the most consistant with my car. The AE car runs good, problems i see is that parts wear out faster than most cars, quality is sub par and it has an edgy feel.

Fast guys will always be fast. But they will be faster with an EB48.
