It would be a bad business decision IMO to bring out a new version. The current one sells and there is nothing better out. They would only cut into their own sales and not the market. I would work on a design but not bring it out until their sales of the current model slow. Molds for injection molding are crazy expensive right now too.
Now a "new" model that had the thicker arms and all the lightened parts as a team version would be a good idea.
What would you change? I would like to see a beefier motor mount (bent two now) and better carriers/retainers for the anti sway bars. But really the car is both nimble and easy to drive and few kits are both.

They go in and out of stock all the time. I would not read into it too much.

I would still like to see a split center diff housing. Changing the center diff is a pain on the eb48.

I take the whole rear suspension off and it makes it much easier..........

Well, ran the car for the first race yesterday, wow is all I can say, I went with the kit setup and have never had a car with so much steering that I turned my dr down! I typically don't race that track so I didn't bother messing with setup, I am extremely pleased and can't wait to start tuning it to my driving style!
I am one of a few running one in western Washington and man were people impressed, everyone had to take a look!

one poster did offer custom shock tool about two month ago here in this forum .
you need to roll back to about that date and you'll find it's picture and see some posters asking to buy from him.
Sorry i can't recall the exact page but it's about 8 weeks ago maybe more.

+1 on the APE-RC shock tool.
Is there a p/n on the EB48 velcro battery straps? They appear in step P-1 with no part number and I can't find on the Tekno site.
Thanks

TKR40007K is the part number for the straps. Unfortunately I have had so many of them rip I know that part number without looking it up... I am working on a solution that will emiminate the straps and have a carbon top strap held down with thumb screws on each end of the pack.
