The Team Associated 8.2 front silver springs are very close in spring rate to the lt blue 70mm Kyoshos, and the 8.2 rear springs in green and silver are close to the orange 84mm Ks. The green a little softer and the silver a little stiffer.

thanks for the info everyone.
Well I found why my front end let go and it wasn't the set screw ....

The bearing let go closest to the diff on the center pinion gear so it was flopping around in the case. Will need to order a new case, pinion gear as its a bit worn, and pinion.
Took a good look at my vehicle with debating going EB48.2 or maybe a light weight SCT410 but after giving it a once over, it looks like the previous owner had already installed all the lightweight drivetrain stuff, heck even the graphite servo brace thing which if I am reading the manual correctly is usually aluminum.
so based on that, I think I will just hold on to this and maybe pickup the XT a-arms and the 1.5mm rear brace.
If anyone is interested in some of the original a-arms, I got a few sets NIB.
By the way, assuming no sell on that, what hole locations on the new XT a-arms would correspond to the old locations on the old a-arms setup wise?

It looks like you have truggy hubs on there, are you going to run it in truggy classs?

The holes are in the same location as the original arms with the addition of a hole above the outer hole. That allows you to run the shocks in the outer location while retaining full droop. One thing to watch out for with the new arms is that if you hit something hard enough to break one, you will probably kill other parts too. I had one impact that did not break the arm but bent the hinge pin so much that it pulled out of the holders and mangled the shock. I have gone back to running the original arms on the front with the XT arms on the rear.

Thinking about my .2 build, and curious if the crowd has any input on pairing the HW SCT-Pro with one of their 1/8 scale motors. It seems the 150A is big and requires some mods to fit. My .1 has an RX8 and the 2050 which has been rock solid, but not sure I want to drop the coin to go Gen 2 as the HW setup in my SCT410 has been really impressive. TIA.

I run a 19 on really big tracks but its rare.
Let us know how that thing performs I run their ESC and its rock solid.
I run the gen1 rx8 in the sct410 and that's been perfect for two years as well.
I'm curious to know what the thermal characteristics are of the viper motor.
