Yes, that is what I think too.
The other day I broke two teeth on one clutch bell and one tooth on another. Two broken clutch bells in 58 laps of about 45 seconds each is way too much to be ok.

I made them domed on top with light champhers on the holes to help direct oil with less turbulence. I went with a slightly thicker wall for the holes due to this. I want to reduce air bubbles as well as get the standard dampening you would expect from this size piston.
Let me see how they work and if they go as planned, i can make some to sell.
. I just dont want to jump the gun, sell them and find out they sucked after i ship them out

Sweet. That stop motion build video was awesome.
If they are finally going to race on the outdoor track at LH that day I may see ya up there. The last couple weeks I haven't been able to get out and race and I'm jonesing for some track time. Normally I'd go to kings on Sunday but with that Sunday being father's day I think Saturday at LH will work out better. Do you know if they have opened the outdoor track yet?
Although with the MWNS that same day it may be a light turn out for 1/8.

Also what 4s batteries are you guys running in these? I usually run 5300 TP in my ECO but I know this kit is a little lighter. I keep seeing these 6500/7200mah 4s batts that weigh 620+ grams each. I'm only looking for 10-12 minute runtimes with 20% left in batt. Going the normal 1900kv Tekin route. May try the T8i once I hear some feedback though.

I think for a long time now the kits have had the new duffs. I think a sign of that is there are no diff shims?
I'm about to start building my second kit from Feb I think it was, both kits have no diff shims.
I use Nanotech 5000/60C batteries with a Viper VTX8 and T8 1900.

I'm running a bls451/HW150a and to balance my car I had to put my 2 EAM 6500 in it 615g. I've done all the aluminum parts (pivot balls /shaft/bushings /bellcrank) cf front tower and it still weighs 7.7lbs wouldn't call that light but its very balanced and handles very well.

Well, ran the car for the first race yesterday, wow is all I can say, I went with the kit setup and have never had a car with so much steering that I turned my dr down! I typically don't race that track so I didn't bother messing with setup, I am extremely pleased and can't wait to start tuning it to my driving style!
I am one of a few running one in western Washington and man were people impressed, everyone had to take a look!

Just looking to change set up. I hear good things about Curtis Door set up. I don't have any Kyo springs. The stiffest I have are orange Tekno I see the kyo are back ordered at amain. I have some losi springs but they are only 80mm long. I think the silver would be close as it 3.4lb pressure which I think is the same as the orange Kyo?? Any thoughts?? I have the Kyo 8x1.3 pistons and also the tekno pistons 8 x 1.3 the tekno are more concave not sure what difference that makes any comments on that? Thanks
