i'd been a solo driver for long years with several models and brands, and since about a year maybe more i started solo driving under every setup possible seeking the highest that i can get on/off road , wide and narrow roads , you name it . Long story short, the eb48 tops in every single aspects compared to others BUT and unlike i was thinking and most of thought the only weak point in it's design : it's over narrow chassis ( from it's middle going back to the end ).
honestly i thought that the narrow chassis would be a huge advantage for this buggy, i even posted two youtube's reviews just to show how great is the handling of this buggy BUT recently i realized that the chassis should be widen from the rear edge till the middle of it.
during sharp high speeds turns or sudden maneuvering i noticed that it's tail simply spins out like something been thrown from a centrifuge machine if my description helps me here.
when i compared this buggy to the mbx6 eco i felt that difference so clear . The two buggies had nick to nick equal at every single point beside when it comes to high speed sharp turns .
The mbx6 eco wins this exact challenge . No question from my side .
solving this in my humble opinion should be based on the chassis design ..
Triangle shape chassis will make it even better for handling .

Car set up on a narrow vs wide layouts really end up pretty different. I have run about every car available and the tekno when set up right worked the best. The mugen is a safe car but i never really could hit the laps that i can with the tekno. To be honest, the serpent handled the best out of the wide cars. The design of the tekno for me has yielded the fastest laps and runs of all the cars. Narrow cars change direction faster than wide cars which can break the rear loose if the setup isnt right but once it is right, the car is hands down the fastest i have tried and the easiest to drive.

didn't you notice it's rear end thrown the opsite way during charging out of corners specially on mud ?
other that this i didn't find anything wrong about this buggy. check some of my posts within the past two weeks at the mbx6 eco forum .

Desert , you are a basher yes ? (you dont race) . Are you running the stock setup ? You say "especially on mud" ? Any buggy would probably over steer in those conditions and there are many things you can do to change that biggest thing being having the right tire for the conditions you are running in .
MOST owners of EB48's do not bash them they race on tracks and tune the buggy to suit their conditions and driving style .....

maybe pushing these buggies to it's limit reviles something here or there although i admits that no racer will be allowed to use my setup as it's not approved no with ROAR regulations nor with any small local racing track.

If they are finally going to race on the outdoor track at LH that day I may see ya up there. The last couple weeks I haven't been able to get out and race and I'm jonesing for some track time. Normally I'd go to kings on Sunday but with that Sunday being father's day I think Saturday at LH will work out better. Do you know if they have opened the outdoor track yet?
Although with the MWNS that same day it may be a light turn out for 1/8.

I never ran in mud but i know what you mean. This car is aggressive and does need to be set up for loose conditions. A car that is too locked in is not fast in racing though. This car really is a high performance race machine. Post what setup you are running and i am sure everyone can give you a hand getting the car tamed for those conditions. Myself along with many others have been running this car for a long time. I know what makes this car work for every track condition i encountered. I havent had a race where i couldnt get it running great.
