Just a joke...I would guess that the next tekno rc will be an 1/8 e truggy (7 lb ish truggy oh my)...they already have most of the parts they need...I bet we'll see it at rcx.

A nitro buggy would also be sick...anything from tekno is worth saving for lol

i managed to place 2x 3S ( venom 35C 5000mah ) all together 6S 5000 mah.
the two packs were one over the other so i guess that 4S with same mAh probably will fit.

+1 on the e truggy, I also think it would be cool if they offered say a conversion at least to make it a GT8 vehicle.

Man I missed it! What was it doing that was difficult to control? Just purely guessing, is that the rear end might of been loose, especially if you are not using Curtis door setup. I know Darrell's track can be a little bumpy at times... but I think he plans on letting it settle, so it might be smoothing out some. If that is the case have you thought of trying stiffer roll bars, like many are suggesting on here. Without seeing it, I can't give you much more than that.

Tekno has already been seen testing a nitro buggy. I'd imagine it will be released next spring. After that they might release a truggy.

A little over 14 minutes...probably 3-5 minutes shorter than I was getting with the 5000 mah 4s cells.

Woody, it was the rear end being extremely loose...I've been running the Blair setup but I'm now going to try the door setup...I was thinking softer springs and rear sway bar with thinner fluids...but it was a blast and unless the new t8i's are magical I won't be switching any time soon. FYI Darrell said he's open all next weekend.

Seems like it would be a very tight fit. Tight to the point of almost being too tight.

The stock rear springs are pretty soft already, may want to try removing any anti-squat and some lighter oil first depending on what you are running now. I'm running 30 in the rear. 1.2x10 pistons(stock drilled out). Think I'm going to try 1.3x8(kyosho) with 30wt next.

Just went and bought the drill bits to try this on some associated blank pistons.

Also, for those running door's setup...do you feel that the +2mm front and +1mm rear is a necessity?

You're 100% correct in your words. I'll post some pics in day light showing you how it's looks. it's even hard to place the body pins as the body raised up.

yeah I'm wondering the same, can anybody give us the theory on at the +2mm front and +1mm rear is trying to accomplish?

The only thing I can think of is more stability with a wider stance, but why make the front even wider? I'm sure it has to do with angles and the shocks, but I'm not that smart to understand why.
