Hi guys I have a very precise question, it seems this topic is the best one to have an answer, but if you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm not sure I will get one without trying myself! So that's my question:

Is the USB Link application working on Windows RT if you are using the x86 emulator?

I hope somebody with a Microsoft Surface has already tried that...

I am running Hobbywing and Castle ESC programming software in a virtual windows install on a linux machine. It takes a bit to get it working right but it does work.

Hi Guys

I have been getting some emails about problems with some Hobbywing esc's now with my responce of getting more information like battery brand c rating ,radio and motors so i can figure the issues i have found that the esc's in question are not Hobbywing esc's at all even though they are running hobbywing cracked version 2.1v software.

we do not oem any esc's for brushless hobbies or bullistorm they are 100% counterfeit products of hobbywings esc's that have cracked the source codes to be able to run the hobbywing software .

So please dont think that because it looks like a hobbywing that it is a hobbywing as there are many counterfeit factories in china who have also copied the v3 esc but they are not the same in performance as i have already tested the copies look the same but they just dont perform .

At the moment for legal reasons i cannot mention the copy v3 esc's factories as we are in court at the moment but you wont be suprised when you find out who they are trust me .

regards to all of you loyal hobbywing users

Angelo

As long as you always run the program in admin mode it will work on the mentioned platforms

I would love to see a version of the HW software that will run on a linux machine without having to resort to virtual environments. Ubuntu is very popular and it would be a great OS to test with.

Likewise for Android, being able to program your esc with your phone or tablet would be awesome.
I'm surprised that no esc manufacturer has done this yet as I believe it would equate to more sales.

Cheers
Rob.

hey guys...just picked up a Axial AX10 rock crawler and i run hobbywing in all my stuff and wondered if anyone knew a esc/motor combo that would work since they dont make crawler stuff

I have the Xtreme Stock esc and 17.5 revtech motor and wondered if geared properly if that would work or what some people think would work

Motor part number is 90010070
Esc part number is 81010130

I didn't see a combo. Angelo can probably help with that.

thanks bro...There is a combo but none in stock at Falconsekido

i have the Xtreme stock so would that be a better choice since its higher amps and do the 21.5t motor later and try the 17.5t and play with gearing to make it work and change the ESC to crawler mode?

I guess what im saying is...why sell the Xtreme Stock if it will work other than not being waterproof...
