are you breaking the .2 rear tower each time?

I have a SC10 and a B4.2 and have a motor screw question. The SC10 request 3X6MM and the B4.2 3x8. Why is this? Cause of the VTS slipper or is the motor plate different? I have a reedy sonic17.5 in the B4.2 and need to order some motor screws/washer. The SC10 has a brushless hobbies 17.5.

Thanks

the motor plate is 3mm thick. so I would say 3x8mm for the reedy.

If you can pick up some lunsford motor screws the best insurance you can get!

.1 tower and .2 tower is the same plastic... If you're regularily breaking them... It's a track/driver issue.

i switched my ball cups with the cups off the tc6 and there is almost no play in them
one race day on it and there is still no play in them. i wasnt so sure about their durability but they were strong enough to break my u brace, not sure if thats good or bad.

I have to disagree, the .1 is lighter shade than .2 and the .2 tower flexes a little more by just twisting in your hand.

Good idea there! I'd be concerned about how little of thread goes into the cups. The new JC cups look really tough!

kit 4.2 setup. If it's got alot of little bumps, switch to 1.7 pistons front and rear and 37.5 front oil 35 rear oil.

Start there. If your tires are right, then you will be right there.
