Not to ask a stupid question, "pimp", but does your body fit?

That looks quite tall. I was thinking about adding a fan since there isn't a ton of airflow in the body, but was concerned about what would fit properly.

It's snug, but I'm attaching the body with Velcro so it's all good. I'm going to drill holes to increase air flow. Since I layer the underside of my bodies with shoe goo to prolong paint life and prevent cracks so it will work out fine.

Overall the build was pretty straight forward, however the mechanical brakes made me lose my frickin mind trying to get the cams to engage the pads enough to stop the buggy
Looks like your front right shock collar is on upside down.

Not to mention all the carbon fiber needs to be sanded and sealed. This car sure is "pimp" though. With all that extra stuff, and the shoegooed body, we may have the first 9lb+ EB48.

the way the body hugs the chassis i don't think one needs to add the shoe goo,i can understand on a sc body in the common break areas. looks like a nice build though...enjoy it....

No joke. That's 12lbs of stuff in a 9lb car. Why on earth do you need that HUGE heat sink and fan for the motor? I run a Tekin 2050 and it never gets much above warm never mind hot enough to need all of that.

how often do you find yourself at the higher end of the throttle range? Where are you topping out down the longest straight?

25ish second lap times, medium size outdoor track (can be large, but part of it is 10th scale right now, see prior posts for videos). I run an RX8/1900 on 18t and come off at 120-130 on the ESC and 130-140 on the motor after a 10 min run. No fans, no timing, no current limit, but I have holes in the bits of the body that look like air scoops.

After reading through this i cant seem to get a grasp on the setup. From the sounds of it austin blair runs on the edge. And everyone is following his setup...

I built mine by the book. Car feels to knimble to me. Cant decide where to start as far as setup. Car does not feel planted at all. I like to drive more smooth and be able to push the car when needed. With stock setup its either drive slow and smooth or super strapped.

Any suggestions where to start? Im coming from a losi ebuggy that is very dialed but really wore out and needing too much work to be reliable. Thanks for the time guys.
