Just FYI the New RC4 (Not Hybrid) transponder will not work on Decoders less than RC4 The rc2/3 Decoders cannot see the Newest transponder. (RC4 3wire)

The 2 Wire Hybrid's Are Fine Across Rc2 - Rc4 Decoders. I have tested Mine out on all 3 with no issues

+1, learned that the hard way. I'll only be buying Hybrids or old AMB PT's for the foreseeable future. Suppose I really didn't need to know my ambient temperature or battery voltage anyways. :|

The hybrid is. The newest, and cheapest AMB is not a hybrid.

when buying used, is there an easy way to tell them apart? I was looking at the mylaps website and they look the same.

Hybrid has two wires, the new one that is not backwards compatible has 3.

We use the Wolf pack for its lighter weight & C rating when using faster motors...

Outdoors you may wish to use a milder motor & a higher C battery for its extra weight & punch...

I guess there isnt much to talk about these days.

I really like the new ae machined pistons.

The gold x gear spring i find IS softer then an ae white. I know there was a question about that earlier.

The new pistons... what are most people using for stock buggy? If you have a part number that would be fantastic!

Found part numbers, just need size.

I'm using the 3 x 1.4 pistons. They seem nice to me.

Well currently im running mod buggy on a medium bitr track. running the 3x1.4 front and 2x1.6 rear. I will be running a stock buggy soon for the stock nats at ocrc and will try the same set-up. running 32.5 oil front and rear with pink xgear/kyosho spring front and a ae white rear spring on my large inddor track with big jumps. Works pretty good, want to try 2x1.5 in the rear for more pack so i can flat land more stuff easier, we have a few jumps with long landers and its almost considered a flat landing and the car gets a little upset when i land at the end of them, mostly from the rear and dont want to go up any higher in spring.
