lol. Yeah. I still have 1/2 an sc. I do like the new body mounts though. otherwise it is predictable. I dont even think they updated the towers for the 4th hole, meh.

yeah Maifield said that that he felt at a disadvantage vs the mid motor cars. Maybe the only time you will ever hear that LOL.

Got my brushless system picked out for this car.
Novak Edge 2s with 10.5 ballistic motor. I'm still learning 2wd buggy
and I thought a 10.5 would be the best to start with.
Someone said on another forum they started with a 13.5....I want
something a little faster but not too fast if you know what i mean.
8.5 probably wouldnt be a good idea for me to start with.
Im just getting used to the power Lipo gives me. Big jump from Nimh.

why not get the viper setup?

Yeah, I am a bit disappointed that SRS made a mid motor track.

I would start with a 17.5. Stock buggies are fast. 10.5 is still a lot of motor. My B4 with a 10.5 feels very close to my 8.5.

Or are you more disappointed that AE doesnt make a mid motor car?

IDK if they make a mid motor car, as along as its a separate car and not a hybrid. I am actually hoping AE wins and the mid motor cars can learn a lesson and go back to europe, lol.

Tho this race(win or lose) would be a great reason to race/release a hybrid this spring.

IMO, a hybrid like the Bmax MR made by AE would sell like hotcakes and be competitive.

Looking forward to buying whatever AE tells me is fast.

I dont like mid motor hybrids either. Never converted my losi 22 back and forth because it was too much work. If I raced on a mid motor track and rear motor track I would much rather purchase two buggies.

Seems like they are catering the track prep toward the mid-motor buggies (and SCs?).

I guess I don't get the mindset of having that much traction on an off-road dirt track...?
