Would you like to see a video of mine working? lol, I have never heard of viper QC issues. And viper has great customer service. A local pluged his in backwards, and fried the esc. He sent it in and asked them if it was dead if he could have a black edition, they sent him a black edition, no hassles. So whudup playa. Both companies have great support. But viper does it for 365 days. your up.

I never said all the tekins BEC's die. But I have seen a few tekins go up in smoke. But then again users are sometimes idiots. Thank you for the 1 year warranty for the idiots, lol.

Yeah, some users are idiots... That being said a local guy went through 5 or 6 brand new out of the package esc's before he got one to work at all. The customer service people weren't too helpfull and wouldn't answer calls or emails. But fortunately he got one that worked. I have even heard from other people that it wasn't an isolated case. Those things aren't cheap either. INMHO a new company who throws a product out there with a price the same or even highher than a proven line like Tekin isn't helping their cause too much. But that could be my opinion though. Thankfully he got it through amain and got help from them!

That being said I bought one used RS and had the receiver wire break on me, sent it back and they fixed it for free, it was well past warranty but they took care of it and all I had to pay was shipping. Never had one go bad though so I can't comment on their replacement services. Had several other esc's with issues (novak, castle, lrp). But not one of my Tekins and I have had 2 RX8's... Nuthing but good time here!

But with that being said we are here for the B4.2, I have one on order, and am eagerly awaiting its arrival!

Yes this is the b4.2 thread not a thread on which esc is better, so there is no need for anymore posts/debates on that matter.........

So is anyone running the Yaiba products yet on their b4.2?

I've got the itch to try some Xgear springs now.

Thanks...

Has anybody ever published rates on those yet, or do we still just guess and go by color?

on cav's sheet his said xgear pink OR ae green (so guessing on front pink = green) and on rear xgear gold or ae white (so also guessing on rear gold = white)

UPS ground shipping. 3 day select was nearly $30. They can keep it.

It is a little confusing. You need to choose USA 48 States Free Shipping (Minimum $100) and its $6.95 if you do not have the minimum $100.00,

Has anyone considered discussing the Associated B4.2 on this thread?
