the engine wont run with zero shimming..... the Bonito uses 2 x 0.3 mm silver shims, which often are mistaken for being part of the head button

Finally got a somewhat warm day (mid 50s) and decided to start up my P5 for the first time. I got it in early January with CRE's break-in service performed on it. I threw the Comp. heater on it for about 15 minutes and gave it a shot. It started right up and held a nice, low idle without spinning the wheels. Gave it some juice...holy crap...this thing is unreal! It's still on the rich side and I can already tell it's gonna be great. Can't wait to see what it does when it is completely broken-in and is given a race tune!

with hard shoes I would run 2 x .95 and 2 x 1.0
with med shoes I would run 4 x 1.0
Now this may be a touch aggressive, but its always better to start like this and then tone down once you have everything all dialed in.......

on my stock werks b7 i run med shoes with .9 and .95 spring and i limit the throttle opening. so i hope that the harder spring won't be too much of a hand full.

Best bet is to use your own judgement.... when tuned that BTT should have a pile of bottom end power...so you may like the feel of the softer clutch...s

how about my truggy cre p5 with 9886,41001 same fuel and plug. in have hard shoes, aluminum flywheel.

in truggy I would run 4 x 1.0 .........to me that feels proper on that setup.also gives you a broader tuning window....a very low clutch stall can make the LSN trickier to dial in........If your making too much power we can limit end point....
