So its been about a yr that i'be had my cre p5. I've been using a 086 pipe with a weeks #6 plug. So would a os p4 be a better plug?I've heard that the taper of the os plugs are different from the werks plug and once u use an os plug u must use one all the time or the plug won't seal correctly. Also I read that the 9886 with a 41001 is a good pipe combo. I ordered these also.

Pete, if it get fussy to tune a P4 works very well.

The Werks #6 is a great plug, but it is quite a cool plug and can be picky to tune under some conditions.....ie... high humidity or moisture in the fuel....... A OS P4 is a much hotter glowplug and will make the engine more stable and more forgiving, especially in higher humidity......9886 is awesome ,just make sure you order the Super Strong version

I love my P5 with the 9886! (and the werks #6 plugs, but I have direct access to some of the best tuners around, so I'm not too concerned about picky tuning!)

But yes, definitely get the SS. I got the regular one just before the SS came out and it is starting to look like I use it as a golf ball....

Sure am! The longer daylight hours have brought me out of my funk and now I can't wait to pull the trigger on my buggy.... At first I was thinking "as soon as they put the street cleaners on the roads, you can go burn off a few tanks" but it's TAKING TOO LONG!!!

Reading all the issues with water in the fuel, what should I do with the little bit of leftover fuel that never got burned last year? Use it as something to start campfires with?

put a minus sign in front of those and that's what february looked like around here! So cold that you could take a boiling cup of water outside, throw it into the air, and nothing would hit the ground!

+ YouTube Video

Wouldn't it be easier to just use a Werks or nova #5 If you want a hotter plug?

That makes pissing in the wind a far dryer experience....

That's cold, It get's that way here once in a great while, but when I was a kid, it happened for a month at a time and me and my friends would be out in it everyday....
