Is it true that this engine likes a little higher stalled clutch? Had it set real low, which give me alot of feeling in the engine but it seemed like suffer for half a second

FYI I ran an 2058 exhaust
If you are after a very low clutch stall then the 2058 wont be quite the right pipe, it prefers a medium stall on the clutch comparable to a traditional 1.0........A pipe like a 2045 would give you the ability to run a much lower stall on the clutch.... Just by playing with pipe/header combo's you can dramatically alter how and where a engine delivers its power, especially so if your looking for a very low stall on the clutch..

Aha that makes sens, thanks.

I normally run a BuKu Clutch on my P5 at Truggy with a low stall and really liked it, this is with a 2058 though. I think because of the BuKu this can be done

I never ran Buggy before yesterday, so it was just set it and go. I guessed it would work, well it worked fine for buggy. just asked it because the engine will be ran on a Truggy most of the time. I will test some more!

A Buku can be stalled extremely low and can easily be put out of the comfort range of the 2058 pipe..............

What I do is set the Buku so all 3 shoes are at the same tension setting...I find the feel is much crisper and more responsive this way as opposed to staggered...I have tried the clutch many different ways, with all sorts of different staggers and in the end I like the feel of the clutch setting all 3 shoes equal.......You can still run a low stall, but have all 3 stalled equally low......Zero ( pretension ) each spring, then turn each one in 1 1/4 turns in.....Take it for a few laps, let the clutch seat...then if its too aggressive back each shoe out equally till you find the sweet spot.....I think it works amazingly well this way...

Default Clocked RB BXR

Up until now I was not overly impressed with the RB BXR...But last week we decided to try the 2041 tuned on my Clocked BXR and the results were very impressive...This pipe really wakes up this engine...... Lots of bottom end and rip roaring top end...runtime seems pretty decent as well...

I have the EB Mods version of that pipe. Works very well on many engines kinda like the 2058. Too bad they're so hard to find in the states.

On every pipe so far the Blast has outperformed the BXR..However on the 2041 the BXR is a total beast... I have not tried the blast on the 2041 yet.....So it could go either way........The thing is I can also very easily give the Blast the timings needed to match this BXR..

Last weekend we had the Proline Thunder Down Under event here in Australia with the guys from TLR, Adam Drake & Mike Truhe in attendance, New track layout and design for the event made for some very interesting driving for the club level guys that's for sure but after 4 faultless heats from Kyle McBride the TQ position in both buggy and truggy classes where all wrapped up.

Kyle McBride went on to win the buggy class by a lap and a half over the field running his Clockwork Racing Engine O.S Speed fitted with a purple Nitro Mizer insert and werks 2058 pipe, another great win in good company for the CRE TEAM.

1. Kyle McBride 73 laps 45:21
2. Adam Drake 72 laps 45:41
3. Aaron Stringer 71 laps 45:24
4. Matt Griffin 71 laps 45:30
5. Mike Truhe 71 laps 45:32

Congrats to Kyle on the great win against world class competition and the current ROAR champion. Looks like the cost of CRE engines is going up now

Congratulations to Nick Moxley for a great weekend at the 2013 Canadian RC pro finals...... it was an extremely technical and difficult track with some stiff competition , Nick managed to qualify second in both Pro Truggy and pro Buggy, then managed to win the 45 Minute Truggy A-Main and Place second in the 45 minute Buggy A-Main...We ran a Clocked Bonito in Truggy, then used a Clocked RB BXR for qualifying then went to a Clocked RB Blast V12 for the main.....We used a M2C clutch for Truggy and a Buku composite for Buggy...... Anyways great job Nick....it was definitely worth the 14.5 drive to get there......

Also a congratulations to len litke for a third place finish in pro truggy running a Clocked bonito !
