Ok before the haters start, here is the non stop video of my clocked P5 & werks 2058, werks #5 plug, buku clutch, nitro X SSS 30 % in my serpent 2.0 buggy during the first practice heat today at the Australian 2013 Buggy Nationals, this is a new track layout and surface which was loose for the first practice heats but has since blue grooved which is awsome ( video's to follow ) Yes my car set up was off and changed during practice and we had 50 mph winds to fight against all day today.
Now i thought i would go out during the 3 minute warm up and then carry on through the 10 minute heat just to show what run time this engine can get, but you guessed it I ran out of fuel on the last lap ( Grrrrrr ) but still managed to win the heat pmsl....enjoy

http://youtu.be/kALlsWXUSqQ
I know I didnt drive my best but with the set up changes and the track conditions improving alot things got better and better during the day and look forward to the next 3 days of racing, so sledge away im a big boy lol

The car temp was 189f after this heat so after leaning the bottom end 3 hours and the top end 2 hours the 2nd practice heat ran the 3 minute warm up and the 10 minute heat and returned to the pit wall idling, there was just the last few dribbles to go and what was in the fuel line but 13:25 was the stop watch final result with engine temp of 235f.
Nice work Neal as always, makes the 10 minute heats alot easier when you dont have to stop for the pit stop which every car in my heat did, cheers.

Hobby Hut had their opener today, 98 entries. After sitting since last nov without being touched my bonito fired right up with the plug that's been in it since end of last oct! With 31 truggy entries, CRE bonitos finished 1-2. Sweet engine. Thanks again John and Neal for the support.

Your going to love the Roma my friend...... little by little we have been evolving the modifications we do to that engine.... It is extremely powerful with an awesome top end ...It is quite powerful and can kick very hard if your careless, but still is quite drivable, especially considering the amount of power it makes......It also is great for clearing jumps, it gives you the ability to slow down and square up and still have enough juice to clear pretty much anything....in sections where other engines struggle to clear a obstacle, the Roma will do with ease with plenty to spare.......
