I am experiencing a bit of trouble trying to figure why my drive belt is so loose. The manual says you should have an 1/8" of play, but mine sags all the way to the bottom of the cover. I have adjusted the belt tension wheel and that does not help it. I purchased a new belt and it is the same size as the old one. The chassis brace is still in tact, so I don't know where else I can adjust it. Has anyone else had this problem?

If your racing indoor clay suggest you to try....

Will need to purchase a B4 C-hub , 12 mm ball stud & spacers
Easy & fun to do ...

What's the difference between the ft buggy c hub mod and the Excotek rear hubs spaced.

If you tried to raise the stud 8mm on the Exo hub it will be weak and perhaps the stud can snap off .
The only difference using I can see...

Check to see if you installed the rear transmission motor plate into the slot on the chassis ....

You will find more grip with out ...
I should have added to this I am running the set up you posted earlier but I do have the exotek chassis also. I have on order the rcshox v2 set up and their shock pistons. I am also waiting on a m2c block but amain is out of stock on it. I went back and read the post about the 8mm mod but didnt know how much the chassis would change the effect.

All works the same with the Exo chassis , just the Exo chassis is heavier (6oz+)

Did you use the 19t pulley front and rear?

Thanks for the reply. Would the 19t pulley up front help any in keeping it together in the turns?

That I would have to check, as I bought it already built. Can 1 tooth make that big of a difference?

Yeah I do. I actually owned both vehicles so I can comment on what I am seeing.

What is your setup?

I have a setup for outdoor blownout tracks that I liked. If you or anyone else wants it just let me know.

I am having trouble keeping the rear under it in the high speed turns.
I would suggest you get in touch with Acill or Shark on rcshortcourse (or direct through rctech). They used the exotek carriers and can have advise on using them properly , what ball studs, etc.

As for the whole +8mm mod debate, you seen what WC things, you see what I think and others referenced in that link, best bet, TEST IT YOURSELF and you come to a conclusion on what you think.

bluet: Can you elaborate on what you mean by keep it together in the turns? Is the rear stepping out on you?
