Interesting YankeeFan, I would not have thought that removing front ball stud washers (hence raising the roll center and resisting chassis roll) would give you more on power steering. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not a tuning expert by any means. I would have thought that would have given you more off power steering but as the weight continues forward and the front resists the roll, the outside tire would start to slip and you would ultimately lose grip. Correct me if I'm wrong. My first thought would have been increasing anti-squat or increasing limiters (decreasing droop and decreasing weight transfer to the rear under acceleration) in the front. What does everyone think?

i think you need to play with settings for the right feel. I started with cavs base setup and raz's shock package and ended up where I did. I dont think anyone here is running the shorty all the way back, but I am and I like it. you just have to try things. I feel like tires are huge for the on/off power steering. I was using the tires everyone else was and hated, so I just started run every tires in my box till I found what I wanted. I wanted my rear to drift a little in the corners then square up under power. I finally got what I wanted out of my car, now to work on my driving.

I could very well be wrong, it's just that my car couldn't turn out of the sweeper to save my life. I was told to try removing front ball stud washers and that helped. It might just be the fact that I was told it would help, but I could personally feel my car turn much sharper.
All I do is use tire sauce and the high speed steering comes back .
When ever I run the tires dry ? Car has a big push in sweepers ...

WCRC's clay is really good and saucing im not sure is beneficial. Maybe something very mild that would't compromise the tire much but then again you may end up with too much grip and traction roll lol and im not gonna advise or even recommend sauce at wcrc. I wish my home track had clay like theirs

Same wear & tear as if you were using sauce anyway..
My experience is when ever I have raced at facilities that ban traction compounds, most bag their tires overnight.
Just coat the tires as normal the bag keeps the tire soft by slowing down the time for it to dry out.
Tip
Keep a 2nd even a 3rd set in separate bag & use fresh tires each round..
