They will leak the same for all ....
Im not arguing. But i have pics i can post up after a race day too that show no leakage at all. It doesnt matter. Im just gonna suggest that people try it on their own and make their own decisions based on testing.

Considering the amount of people that don't leak, you might want to check the seal surface area on your shock caps and screws, possible they aren't as flush for whatever reason causing your leak.

I've been running without o-rings for two weeks now and I'm trying to determine if I have any seepage. It's not much if it is. Not any more than comes out of the o-rings at the shaft. I definitely want to try other sealing solutions because running nothing still seems kinda dumb.

Perhaps plastic screws?

I get a tiny amount of weeping out the bottom. No big deal if i top them off every week of racing. All of my shocks has always weeped a little. I am told the pressure from all of the compression will cause a tiny amount to come out. I do not even leak a little out the bleeder screw.

I need to measure the AE ones but i think the JC ones are a tad bit beefier/larger. I do know for sure that they require a different size wrench that jc is producing or you can get by with the big bore wrench that came with all of the Big bore kits.

Default A little update on the factoryone-rc ultra bushings for the Big Bores

The ultra bushings from factoryone are in the process of being produced and should be done in the next few weeks for those that are aware and eager like me to try them out in our big bore shocks. Currently there are bushing kits for the v2 shocks and now shortly there will be some available for the Ae big bore shocks. I will keep you guys updated in the progress. These bushings will fit a lot tighter around the shock shaft creating less shaft deflection during shock compression and extension creating a more consistent shock and in theory should provide a better shock o-ring seal as well.

I'm not sure if anyone on here has mentioned these, 9452K311 - Buna-n O-ring from McMaster Carr. They are basically the same as the factory O-rings for the bleeder screw as far as the dimensions, but they are black and definitely hold up better. They don't "balloon" out as easily when you are tightening the bleeder screw and they seem to last a lot longer.

I have run 4 different cars with and without O-rings and I have never had a leak. I prefer to run O-rings because I just want to be on the safe side I guess. But also because part of me thinks that over time the bleeder screw may start to wear and that could potentially create a situation for shock fluid to leak out if there isn't something else there to help the seal. This of course is just a thought. Like I said, I have run big bores without the O-rings and they were fine. But they were also pretty new.

Here is the McMaster Carr O-ring part# again 9452K311 - Buna-n O-ring.
