Haha, that grip is easily double what we run on. It may not be as high as last year, but pulling wheelies everywhere is hardly medium bite IMO

What is with all of the wooden jumps and jumps and bumps? so they can be removed for the oval races?

I'm sorry, not trying to stir the pot here, but I don't get everyone being all up in arms about the B4.2 kit not being an "upgrade". I know most peeps here say it's the same car everyone has been running for a while; but that's simply not true. Not everyone runs out and gets every worthwhile upgrade possible. So if you were running exactly what you would have gotten in a B4.1 WC kit, and grab a B4.2 ....

Big Bore Shocks
VTS Slipper
Hex Wheels all around
Aluminum Steering Rack
New Carbon Rear Hubs

That's a fairly serious upgrade, all for not much more money! Good job to AE

yeah. Dirt oval in Central PA is HUGE. I stopped by the track to pick up my new radio a few weeks ago and they had some big oval race there and there was literally like 400 entries. And they said it was low for that event.

apparently full scale dirt oval is really big out there so the guys are around it all their life. I think Customworks is out that way too.

Trust me, we have ALL asked him to scrap the wood and go with a reg track but he would lose a ton of money.

The good thing is that over the years they have the wood jump thing perfected. It's not the same as a reg track, but they made the most of what they have to work with.

We are 40-50 degrees too out in the middle of Cali. For more grip on exit of turn, should I change oil or spring or both. Car is pushing like a john deere. Running BB's spec set up right now. Maybe go green all around and drop oil's by 5?

lol I have no idea. I was just saying that if he was running X weight oil at 100 deg temps AND at 40 deg temps, there's a good chance that your car will feel stupid.

Rule of thumb is to go up in oil if you are running in hotter climate than NORMAL or down in oil if you are running in colder climate than NORMAL.

Normal is different for everyone.

My experience is with V2's. Outdoor I would use say 35 fr 30 rr. Indoor 30 ft 27.5 rr. The feel would be the same but because the temps drop from the 90's to the 60's, I can go thinner oil. Just use that concept and try some changes.

Oh and this is for oil only, springs stay the same. The goal is to make the car feel the same way in one temp as it does in the other temp.

lmao, wrong thread.

Stiffer rear spring, and/or increasing the number of internal limiters up front.

running white spring in rear so going stiffer will help would need gray or blue spring.

if you are pushing that bad, play with tires first.

Of course that's assuming your setup isn't silly.

Quite hard to find a good setup with no traction from the tires

well one thing I did learn (the hard way) is that no amount of chassis tuning will help you if you don't have tires dialed in.
