Hideeho
After personally testing & having other people confirm it the problem is with spektrum dsm1 receivers. Spektrum dsm2 receivers do not have a problem. I personally run a tekin rs pro, spektrum 3100, savox 1258, & no glitch buster.

NO BROWN OUTS EVER!

Just saying put the blame where the blame is due, dsm1 receivers.

Brownouts are usually caused by a poor quality or under amped/under voltage BEC.

Both Spektrum Receivers and Savox servo's are high voltage. So when paired together they have been known to overpower some BECS's.

Not just Castle Creations, coming from a plane background you see it all the time, Spektrums were blamed for Brown outs when it was really the overloaded ESC's BEC unit that was the culprit.

I was the biggest castle fan out there. Unfortunately their MMP BEC was just unacceptable in the end. I had 4 big caps on my receiver and it still browned out under full punch with my 6.5 and some servo operations. After years of running castle and doing custom throttle curves and playing devil's advocate, I finally moved on to orions. It's a shame, they really know their electronics, but they just don't care about racers who use brushless motors or high power servos.

Yeah I think the issue I spotted with my cvd/bone is the same thing that UN4 was calling plunge. I already squeezed the bejeez out of my diff springs, so I don't know if the spring would break in any more, but shimming the axle a little fixed it just fine, so oh well.

If you try that I will try filing it. Should be a good test one to the other. Mine is already started to fail so I may be to late??

My 44.2 is almost ready to roll. Just waiting for my saddle packs now. I did hook up a full size battery just to make sure the diffs run okay and i noticed when i hit my brake the rear tires stop and the fronts roll for a bit before they stop. Is that normal? This is my 1st 4wd so im completly oblivious with it. Does that mean my diff is too loose? Also i was wondering, the setup sheets the pros put out, the diff settings say "loose", "tight", "tighter" etc. How can i determin what is "tight" and how different is "tighter"?

A preview of Pitdaddy Racing vids. It was one of the first if not the first day out with the kits. Towards the end all three of us mix it up a bit... Lots of fun. Hopefully he will be up for a tire gluing vid...

I tried to pinch the spring so the diff nut would be in tight. I even beveled out the nut so the ball would be less against the nut. But its already starting to get a curve out in the darn out drive.... Matts is nasty bad.

Totally making one. I used to have a special 2.5 wrench I cut down for motor screws on the original b44.
