Can anyone please recommend a FDR to aim for with a 10.5 and a 17.5 motor. Track is reasonably large with a decent size straight.

Thanks!

For the 17.5, 72spur 31pinion timing 30deg. Keep an eye on temp. I run this at Wodonga on 35plus days.

Are there any parts that allow half hole adjustments to the front link?

not that I am aware of. Small adjustments are normally done with the ball stud washers.

I haven't seen anything. If you wanted it you would have to probably use a bigger metric ball stud and drill that hole in between the other two and then use a lock nut on the other side. Not sure it's worth it. We normally just add washers to get where you need

I think that is the main reason most people dont use the B hubs. They are the in between holes of the A hub, but A hub with washers is just more standard for setup comparisons.

What is your goal, to change camber rise or roll center?

I'm running the Avid 2+2 pistons (1.5mm + 1.1mm) with 30wt frnt & 27.5wt back with either yellow/yellow or yellow/white Avid springs. I run my shorty lipo even with the front of the u-brace. I also run the AE ballast weight in the back and 1/2oz in the front (by the servo). jumps pretty level and then use brake/throttle to control in air.

Maybe try lighter oil in the rear shocks. It is 20% setup and 80% throttle control. Try letting of the throttle earlier as you approach/crest the jump

FDR for blinky 17.5 should be in the 5.5:1 range

A good starting point is 34/35 72. Adjust to temps. You don't want your motor getting over 150 deg F.

Different motors claim different max temps. I know the novak's want to be below 175F and I used to shoot for 170 after 5 minutes or I geared up
