very helpfull on the setup, what should i fill my diffs, irun on blue groove track, like cyote rwy, andwest coast, running 1410-3800 motor? should i put 5000 or 3000,thank guys for the help,,
what are you running for center setup, by that I mean, VTS Style slipper or Center Diff?
For the rear at least, seems 5K is pretty popular with both types of setups.
For the front on a center diff, I would say 7k - 10K range. Me personally 7K works great indoors and out. High traction to loose conditions for my driving style.

Cain guess being a contender and almost winning the thing is not good enough for you . Were over 20 4x4 's that night ....
A whole bunch were new Durangos & MiP....
Feel-n real good after that race .
well...
At least now you know what its like to be PINK ...

I was thinking more about this post in reference to the vid:
Or at least, how the other guys feel when they beat pink like in the vid?
And as for showing me vids of the sc10 4x4 winning everything doesn't change the fact that the vehicle being shown and the competition ares actually good and credit needs to be given to the driver as well.
You did good WC, you represented your Team as you call it well.
As for my impression of the race, its just that, my impression. The Red vehicle seemed to transition the turns faster than other vehicles on the track. The yellow vehicle and yours seemed to have a great battle as well.
If I was seeing this from my SC10 4x4 perspective and I was using the +8mm mod, for me personally I would consider what was posted about it from other drivers and that one AE engineer, including the experience I had using it on loose conditions where it generated more grip, and try the vehicle without it.
But again, that's me. I am willing to try different things instead of saying something doesn't work without ever trying it. And I also say to others to make up there own mind as well. I really don't care where the item comes from, as long as it works.

From what I saw of someone with a RTR version, it has good controllable power. It needs the swaybars, chassis brace, and either the VTS slipper or the RC Shox garodiscs. Some places are selling the RTR version with the upgrade kit for free.

I haven't been here in months since I sold my truck. Why am I not surprised to see yet another discussion on the 8mm mod on the previous page, and WC being smack dab in the middle of it? All I have to say is go with what works, even if someone else says it shouldn't. If it works for you, who cares what anyone else says? I know that the 8mm mod helped me gain traction outdoors, but I had to remove it indoors....

I cannot explain why that "one" guy told you all that ...
So ?
I'm still sticking with the explanation BK gave my team mates & me ...
Most important part about that video ?
Is to show everyone just how good it is to be PINK ....

On a serious note toward you, WC with no sarcasm or our represented rift between us:
I'm tired of Short Bus. The bash fest involved is wearing heavily on me. I love to see people happy and race what they'd like, But Short Course as a class should become something more respected. I wish the "bash is ok" stigma with SC would leave. I want clean racing with a bump or two as real Trophy Truck's represent, not a blatent hack a lap and no one understanding "leader coming up on you". It's getting tiring and I decided to spend some time in 4x4 Buggy and Stock Buggy into Mod buggy to get rid of some of my bad habits and feel clean racing again. (Inb4 learn to avoid traffic. Please don't go there.
)
The Short Courses are getting cleaned up and set away for a while. I will maintain the class and still drive. But as far as focus, I'm going to do buggy this year.
(btw, this is directed towards absolutely no one. This is my problem and i'm solving it by taking a little step back to regain my love for my Truck.)
Merry Christmas Sc10 4x4's

Craig , nice horsie, you make that all by yourself ? ....
BTW guy , he uses same motor as me REEDY 550 4.5 Sonic
Shaun , Work harder , just need to keep setting the example to the other newer 4x4 racers .
Show them its not a hack fest and possible to race door to door.
Look how good we have it at Trcr with that last Video from iterator .
Did not happen by accident .
Takes time & good people to develop a decent race program .
I raced Mod bug, ST ,ect hard for thousands of years ...
But this Sc 4x4 has now become my favorite class .
Why ?
Because it so much more fun compared to buggy and the others ....
You can show um Shaun, your race program actually has a great start with mass new people to make it all possible ....
