Thanks.
I would think 6 - 8, probably start at 6. I don't know anyone though that does an odd number ?

Me personally I am going to start at 8 for carpet. Definitely though reduce the toe in. Heck, toying with playing with less than stock toe-in on carpet for even more rotation. Seems to be an out of the box option that some of the future competition is coming with.

Start with 6, minimum for high bite.
Like it? Go to 8. Too much? Back off to 7 and see what pin count works for you.

Added pins locks up the diff more like going to a thicker fluid in a gear center diff. Less pins will allow the diff to diff out more and send power to the path of least resistance... the front when on power.

that's funny, your right all suggest even numbers.
I will get close with even numbers and then go up or down by one from there to get it right for the track.

For the track your describing, start at 6 pins and play with the m2c from there.

Once your happy, go up on pins from there to fine tune the diff. You may end up back at 6, but at least you won't wonder if 7 through 10 would be better.

O-yeeaa..

Like going to
Big Bores for the Sc10 4x4...

Thinking the mod would help the truck on the jumps & landings..
Extremely curious about this too! ^
Which ones are you gonna try? 89290 and 89338 are pretty close in size, nothing a few down travel limiters won't cure. We already gotta limit up travel, so the longer bodies might do this on their own...
KEEP US POSTED (if I don't beat you to it....)!

Truck already has lots of steering , don't believe can use even more steering .... no matter what condition's..

A month ago, I'd have agreed with you, but I put the big bores on my 2wd SC10, and they just feel so damn good. What if the same results come from the 16mms on the 4x4?

WC, they look good with the mounts and everything...are those the rc8 fronts on there? Or rears?
