Lol! I know that they're the factory team versions....I just can't tell if your FT means front or factory team.
Let's try this...the shocks on the rear of your SC10 are from the front or rear of the 8th scale? No abbreviations!

I dont know, I think its a bit of an overkill to have em on there. With the MIP pistons the stock shocks feel really good.

Yes, there is a ball diff that was made for the SC10 4x4 however it is not from associated. Associated originally had just the slipper pad setup that you see the RTRs come with. Many felt this was inadequate and the aftermarket delivered several clutch basket setups. Eventually AE came out with there take on the clutch basket setup with the VTS.

RC Shox who made garodiscs that are superior to the stock slipper pads in a lot of vehicles makes the ball diff. Here is a link:

http://www.rcshox.com/sc1044-center-dif-v2/

It is a product that for those who have actually used it, in general (not everyone of course) find it one of the better upgrades out there for the vehicle especially in loose to medium traction conditions. It offers tuneability via the pins that go beside the diff balls.

For me, I found that it really helped my truck in the loose conditions we run on here. Combined with the M2C rear toe in block giving the truck 3.5 degrees of toe in, it locked down the rear end which a lot of times is a complaint of owners that it steps out on them in loose conditions. The ball diff really helped power distribution to give the front end more "pull" for a lack of a better word.

I plan to use it indoors on carpet and see how it performs in comparison to my past usage of the MTK clutch basket.

They clearly work, whether your talking about Rcshox or MIP. If I recall correctly the MIP boys have been laying the smack down indoors and outdoors. Case in point.

And that means exactly what in relation to if 2 stage pistons work ... Probably why you originally deleted that part of the post?

Looking forward to seeing what you see with the 16mm however ...

Ask anyone who has upgraded their B4 with new BB shocks, their experience with will be positive .

Funny stuff ... Asked a similar question when the whole big bore shocks were just getting big in 1/8, had guys telling me there standard RC8 shocks felt fine with a few cap mods in comparison to big bores ... I know not a B4 but the B4 is not an SCT either.

But either way, I am interested in seeing reports on the big bores, in particular on large jump tracks.
