Yeah, but you could strap a Red Bull can to a Fire and it would have good top end...
Sadly, I suspect the Fire is being discontinued, and RB is going back to just having expensive engines, once all the old bits are used up with the Blasts.. Nobody seems to have the Fire anymore.. I guess they want to correct their image after coming out with all those cheap Asian engines..
The 053 btw was very good on a Caster Grenade I had a few years ago too.. Best idling engine I've had, and more top end than I'd ever be able to use on any track I'll ever be running on.. It sucked though on my SH basher engines, although lots of people like them on LRP's etc.. So who knows?.. I like it on the Fire though..

Check this out.. Found a video on youtube with the RB Blast V8. I think it's the yellow truggy, and if so, it looks pretty good..

Finally back from the strip club
I agree with Neil and think everyone should give the 2058 pipe a try. For me it's the only pipe I run anymore in buggy or truggy. I know I have posted about plugs in here many times in the past and still feel C5TGC or something very similar is the way to go. I did also run some Dynamite Platinum #4 and #5 plugs at the end of this season with very good luck. They don't seem to last quite as long as the Nova plugs tho. The Dyn #5 seems very close to the C5TGC and the #4 seems a bit hotter which is great at my altitude!!

Is that the Werks 2058 2010 model?
I have a BXR in my serpent truggy but have the 2087, was thinking about the 2045 or should i get the 2058.
I see a-main have a n-vision 2058 on sale but thats not the pipe you are refering too?
Thanks

That 2058 should work better than the 2087, and its cheaper.

Bart,
The 2058 I run is the Werks version of it. The Werks, Orion, and nVision all come from the same place but I have heard that the nVision branded ones come in a high end and a low end model, not sure what exactly is different tho. I looked on A-Main and I think I am gona order an nVision one tho, for that price I will see for myself if their lower quality runs as good as the Werks.

I was at NC10 a few years back and had an amazing time!!! If I can get away from work I will try to get some guys to caravan down. I have not been to the FF yet so looking forward to running there for at least some club racing.

Let me know ahead of time when your coming down, so I can let you know if they are racing that weekend, from now till after Xmas, they have Haunted house, then they go into Xmas light display, its a drive thru thing, they make a butt load of money on that, we have to be done racing before dark, or they get pissed.
