My b4.1 is much louder than my 2wd short course. I still cant figure out why. No binding, plenty of grease, a new ball diff, and its still loud
2 things. 1) use the Xfactory top shaft (part #5210). One piece & machined perfectly true 2) When taking the tranny apart be sure to put the idler gear in the same way it came out. The gears wear to each other from always spinning the same way.

Great advice Chris. I take silver Sharpie and mark the edge of the gears so I know how they came out.

How ya been bro? Had the car roacking at Norcal. It didnt matter what BB shocks we used the car was dialed. I'll tell you at the track about the BB testing and results. A guy could be cut into pieces in here if the shared info isn't to someone's liking since I'm not factory
I'm pretty sure you have found the same as I have since you're running the Yokomo BB. That makes Kyosho, Losi, Yokomo, and AE that have all been tested on the B4. 3 by me personally. See ya Thursday if you're running. We'll have the new car out running at LSR.
