I have been running this truck a lot and practicing every chance I get. I just can't break a 18.3 lap at my track. Starting to get pissed off!
I have good success with my buggy.
Starting to think this truck dosnt like me.

Ps. It's pretty dialed, everybody thinks it looks good and very planted...

I am having some trouble with traction roling to I have the 8 mm mod and 4 mm under rear 2.2bar in front 2.0 in rear in side holes both

Lots a power. I even had to soften the curve by -15%. That helps a lot with beast power.
Just feel like I plateaued with this truck.

conditions? setup? Issues found on track?

If you are clicking off 18.3s like a clock, I'd turn the motor up.

+1 one with one question for the OP, did you need to turn it down as it become too much to control, as in, it gets loose in the rear?

Kody setup at trcr same except exotek chassis and stick pack. Got all the mods plus it's factory team Plus 1oz on the left that I just removed last night actually. maybe ill go back to bk's. Low traction and slick in the morning, high in the evening.
Same probs everyone battles, the harder I drive the worse my laps get. Gotta baby it.

Also to confirm, and I appologize beforehand if I am not understanding correctly, but by Kody setup are you talking about his most recent one with the 8mm mod or the spektrum championship one?

If you can give it a try, see about running 3.5 degree toe-in. The M2C blocks or some other method of getting that I would suggest especially on the slick stuff. you can really push the vehicle hard in comparison to stock.

For those who use the 8mm mod, I liked the stock long link position on the hub on the really slick stuff we run on our here. with the 8mm mod though, you may need to turn the riser so you can get back to at least the center location on the hub.

Basically hunted to generate as much rear traction as I could then take away as it gets so slick out here that you can do donuts down the straight.

it's a tight indoor clay with big jumps after tight turns, bearly any run up to the jumps. So you gotta have a beast to punch it to clear em.
I can keep it under controll bu I loose time that way too.

On this track I usto run faster laps with an 1/8 scale. And it's kinda small and tight. This truck should be faster IMO.

The traction will go from slick to high by the end if the night. Would that be a good tuning option, considering our change in traction?

No rcshox stuff. And yes most recent setup with 8mm

When traction would come up, at least out here, the vehicle still felt good. If you find it is too planted, you can always

- quick change back to 3 degree or another setting
- find a sweet spot at say 3.25 degree (this is an option with these blocks)

I know it sounds like I am darn near selling these things, but after having the piroet down the straight a few times, and losi's just going by as if it was carpet track, it made a BIG difference.

I just think the way a lot of the tracks this stuff gets tested on, us really loose condition running guys are on our own it seems.

What is the toe on the 3-3 and the 3-2 stock blocks?

toe on the stock blocks is 3 degrees and the second number from my understanding is the antisquat setting.
