They say that the +8 makes the car easier to drive hard, in my experience it makes little difference. I say save the money you would blow on the chassis and new body and spend it on something useful, like tires.
I switched from the old short to the +8 and the car definitely felt more calm in the bumps and corners. It just felt more forgiving to me.

It makes the car overall more stable. I like the feel of the longer chassis better than the short one. Especially if u are running outdoors it will help! U can still use the same body u just have to make minor adjustments to the holes on your body
