They say that the +8 makes the car easier to drive hard, in my experience it makes little difference. I say save the money you would blow on the chassis and new body and spend it on something useful, like tires.

I switched from the old short to the +8 and the car definitely felt more calm in the bumps and corners. It just felt more forgiving to me.

It makes the car overall more stable. I like the feel of the longer chassis better than the short one. Especially if u are running outdoors it will help! U can still use the same body u just have to make minor adjustments to the holes on your body

Basically I just want to know if you think the gear diff is smooth enough to run in the buggy, and if it holds up like it should.

Gear diff is as smooth as you make it and should hold up fine BUT no one fast runs it.

Also, will be building a worlds car soon. Any build tips/tricks?

3pads is the future for off road. I bet these types off systems will be standard on offload vehicles in a bit here.
I'm not too excited about adding 7g of rotating mass in 17.5 class.

I'm tired of doing diff rebuilds and shelling out the cash for bearings and rings.

Buy a b-fast diff, break it in, set it correctly and it will last forever with little maintenance. Beter then dealing with a gear diff thats gonna spew diff fluid everywhere.
