Hobby People have supported me for 3 years. Batteries are 2 years old and still take more than they're rated for.

If you're a C rating freakzoid
2S 6500 70c Stick

If you're sane (personally own 2 two year old ones, that like I said... amazing)
2S 5000 35c Stick

Saddles aren't too cheap (again, I own two sets)
2S 5000 50c Saddle

No, I'm not sponsored or give a poop about what you get, but these have done so well and the 20 other brother batteries I know about have never once had an issue. The prices aren't insane like Reedy and the other guys either. Just a suggestion!

And what could I do to fix these problems? I think my clicker nut is completely tightened down. And I just put a brand new belt on it. It got better but still made the noise.
Look at the clicker first! Make sure there are no rocks in there, if no rocks tighten the nut. Mine was doing the same thing and a retightening of the nut did the trick. Some guys glue the nut on and even add a 2nd nut to ensure it stays locked/tight.

Start with the easiest first, you should be bale to spin the wheels and hear where the noise is coming from.

You can use these HERE

Or these HERE

Both are way less expensive, you want the highest C rating you can get for these 4x4 trucks, low c ratings = puffy packs.

Here are some reasonably priced batteries with a high "C" rating.

Default batterys

I have been using protek saddles and they come with a decent warranty. They are 70c rated and keep up with a tenshock 550 4 pole motor.

those are all stick packs. I am assuming the original discussion was concerning saddles.

I thought someone in an earlier post had a picture of a thunder power stick pack. As someone said, Hobby King has some good saddle packs.

The smc packs are awesome had some for 2 years going on now and never puffed always balance have about 90 charges on them. Use only in winter time. Other wise they are storage charged and put in the freezer i cycle them once every other month during the summer just to peak them out and run them down and charge them back to 3.7 each and back in the freezer they go.

Use good plugs with them also i did have the ones that had the baskets on them and those connectors seem to wear out real fast. The solid ones from castle or tq racing products work wonders.

I'm sorry to hear that. I just bought some. I have a Turnigy stick pack that has been good, but thanks for the warning. I'll watch them carefully when I charge them.
