Have you tried one yet or just endorsing the hell out of it since some AE drivers are using it?
Actually asking honestly here as well as giving a bit of a jab since you typically will not endorse anything you have not tried yet. Especially if it is not AE. I have tried both versions of Marcus' slipper, the old stock slipper and the VTS with and without the Garo disks. I can tell you that the VTS with garos works great on the pavement but offers less stability than the v2 slipper on the looser stuff for me. Just wondering if you will put some time into this new slipper and report back with some results compared to the stock VTS or just say it is the bomb since other AE drivers are running it?
Thanks and please do report back on what you find.

min brake to #5 (12%)

min drive up to #5 (4%)
dead band to #1 (2%)
brake fq to #10 (13.7%)
i also had this issue one race day, found one of my pulley tensioners where binding, so i replaced a bearing... and almost magically i could triple alot easier.
so i would suggest taking your transmissions apart and cleaning them and checking belt tension as well as the tensioners.
even too tight of gear mesh can make it feel sluggish too.

Going from 12t to 15t is a huge difference with that motor... try going up one tooth at a time. 13t may be all you need...and I would not go over 14t with that motor.
if running a 540 4pole motor:

Nice Combo from them with a 4pole: (black)

The Trackstar SCT ESC looks pretty good. I think it is sensorless though. See link below:

I'm running the 120a Hobbywing ESC that can also run 1 cell. It's coping very well with my Tenshock motor. Very pleased.
Switching to the Avid slipper would mean changing all your spurs and making sure you have spares and do they not make a 32 pitch spur? I don't think a 48 pitch would last long on some of the big SC10 4x4 motors!

Agreed. I think we need a few more options on this thread. Like a scarcasm button, and a cheeky button. Ect..
Not always easy to interpret the "tone" of text.
That's why we all need to keep it "light" in these forums.
hard to read all this stuff about wc because I know him and he's a truly nice guy. Will help out anybody at the track. Yes he does stir the pot but many of us do too.

Now it's a 2-way circle jerk, WC and his stooge.... Have fun with all the bad tech and blatant nut swinging....
