SC10 4x4 Thread
I'm running yellow fronts and yellow rear springs , feels good . What would be the benefit of running blue fronts in the rear? I'm on indoor tight clay, smooth, medium traction. Is this used more often for large outdoor??
Ryan,
I tried both and the blue front felt better. Seemed to me like the rear was planted more. I went back and forth several times and always felt like the blue fronts in the rear were more consistent.

Hmm. Ok. I feel like my truck is kinda loose and it wants to roll around back and forth in the corners. I got 8mm, it's not flipping. But feels soft and could be a bit more stable. Maybe a stiffer sway bars or springs??? Whadda ya think

My traction improved in the rear with the blue springs. I tried to go softer for more rear traction, but it had the opposite effect. Kinda weird, but that was my experience. I had the team kits, so I already had them. Borrow a set and try it out before you buy. Several people just get the front spring kits and fine the spring that works for them.
Not really traction I'm looking for. It just feels soft like it wants to roll, And it's loose. Like it takes more time to square up outta the corners. I had trouble hitting the trippel the other night, right after that left hand 90* corner. I'm thinking maybe stiffer but I don't want to loose traction.

will improve forward bite
less side bite though
less chassis roll (less steering)
jumps & landings improve
My tip for you ?
Slow down more before entering
corner for triple in ft of driver's stand ...
We need to show these guys how
technical our new layout is ...
Question for Cameron K ....
Been a while , but would like your opinion of the steps & the sizzor jumps on the Show Down layout ?
I had a big hand in the making ...
