lol. I agree ryan. Like i said many posts ago, you just have to try to separate his advice from his love of AE. Has anyone else come up with a way to make the rear more planted. For me adding creep help a lot with hooking as I enter the corners. And using less grippy tires up front helped make it more controllable. I drive this truck like i do my 2wd b4 buggy, I dont really like the power through the corner and punch it driving style. If that is what is required then sc4x4 class may not be for me.

If wild cherry worked at a hobby store it would go along way in explaining why he is.....you know....wc.

Would you let the "D&D expert" at your lhs set your mesh?

Yea your right.. you gotta drive it with finess. It feels like it wants to be a 2wd. Nice and easy with the trigger, rolling on and off. Take time to square it up then I give it a punch before the big trippel.

what shock oil is pretty much everyone running. i have 37.5 front with 30 rear. running pretty well but i need to shave some more time off.

i cut the cage off a rx8 and weaseled it in under the belt on a factory team i program it with a hotwire.

one more thing i have a 62 spur what pinion recommendation with a tekin 4600 pro 4. 32 second laptime out door track? i think i am a 12 that should be good isnt it?
thanks for any suggestions. im racing against all scte, took second out of 9 the other day but im greedy i want a win.

I will see if i cant post the stick pack setup from a local fast guy from our outdoor track tonight. Might help someone. He only has the 8mm mod and no non ae aftermarket parts. Maybe it will help those running out door 1/8 scale tracks.

4600 4 pole outdoor = 13 to 14 pinion with a 62 spur. Go by temps from there, average straight probably 13. Nascar long straight, probably 14... some guys are even running 15's but I bet they limit current a bit to keep temps in check.
I used to run 12 indoor and 13 outdoor with a 2 pole but I am at 13 even indoor because of the added torque. I would think that 13 would be the minimum for you.

Oil, that's tough. Everyone drives different and on different tracks.
Pull up a AE setup sheet from an outdoor race and go from there. Your rear seems too thin in comparison to the front. lower weight in the front or higher weight in the rear.

For me 5wt lower in the rear max regardless of what weights I'm running. Sometimes equal at a real blown out outdoor track.
