These look good and have a warranty unlike the gens ace and turnigy. Gens ace saddles are 25c, dont get them. Turnigy is more like 65c I think, but hobbyking has crazy high shipping.

I have zero issues with my gens ace, but i often wonder if the numbers are accurate. I believe the promatch are tested for mah and c rating

New Nano Tech A Spec's look good, but last I checked they were not in the US warehouse yet... China only.
In the mean time, seen good reviews on Gens ace that are great for the money.

I'll let others comment on the saddle benefits, I run stick. But in general the more centered you can get your weight the better. This car specifically needs added weight in the front and the saddle configuration helps with that as well.

Edit: Looked at the Gens saddle packs after you posted and yeah, 25c is way too low.

Probably just people running the center stick but they brace it back up with plates of aluminum to get that rigidity back.

The only problem I have with the nano-techs. Is that I have "melted" the negative lead inside the lipo from it getting to hot. The cells still read fine but my truck will cut off after trying to use them. I learned the hard way to be more careful

given those choices I would get the nanotecks. I have heard bad things about the protek. But I would still look at the promatch packs.

Disclaimer again, I don't run saddles but I know people who use the nano saddles and the pro tec ($80, ouch) was just a hair taller so they should all fit.
Get the 65c nano if you get a nano.

The plug probably got crazy hot from using a bullet for too long letting it get loose in the female port. Then you have arcing and you will melt the plastic case on any lipo.
Unless you were using a low c nano like the green ones or something.

Wow just came back from running on an indoor track (first time)

track was hard packed dusty- low-med grip a little bumpy.

Just about everything broke on this g'dang thing

receiver acting crazy, had to swap out
center diff teeth worn down had to keep adjusting mesh
rear ballstud popped out-lost all my spacers
had to change to yellow rear springs
reset ride height
tires came unglued-have no idea how, i glued the ish out of em.

I didnt get the truck to work till actual main. kept breaking first two rounds.

I managed to get it together and final round, qualified last, made it to third was right on the leaders and my ballstud in the rear popped out. I got it back together but lost too many laps to make up ground. sucked.

Truck jumps beautifully when I air it out at least lol.

Truck needs a lot of work. In long sweeper rear end would lose traction and come around. so annoying.

Cool thing I was pit right next to Jason Ruona from JConcepts. My truck kept up with his buggy for one lap LOL.

Simply I just learned my lesson and I dont mind spending the extra coin to get a well made lipo. If I go with the nano's I just need to be more careful next time

I'll probably pick up the pro match and a set of the nano's.
