I give up on the shocks!! I've got three hours trying to get them to stop sucking air, but no luck. The bladders are just a little off. They don't seat in the groove in the cap tightly enough . I'm going to run them as is until I can find better bladders. The mugen bladders were a no-go. Anybody got any ideas? I want to race tomorrow, so I can't spend anymore time on them today (honey do list), I'll run her as is.

I know a guy a the track had a hard time with his rears and Danny (TeknoRC) came over and helped him out. It was something he wasnt reading right in the manual it turned out.

Read and re-read the manual. No good. Been building shocks for 20 years, never been stumped like this before. Had some bad Associated stuff, but could always get them to work. Not with these so far...

Just got back from my maiden run and I have just 3 words to say ....... ON POWER STEERING ! Holy cow , I have never had a 1/8th scale that had so much , no wonder its so fast in the corners .

Jumping is also awesome as well , very neutral and feels so light and flickable . Almost like a 1/10 scale . This buggy will definitely reward aggressive driving as it begs to be driven hard .

The build was good everything went together well and I didn't have to mod/grind/cut anything to get it to fit . The only thing I can see is the battery tray isn't friendly too batteries that have the charge/balance leads coming out of the top (like the GensAce 4s packs) .

All in all I think Tekno has hit a home run with this buggy and it will be a force to be reckoned with on the racetrack .

Good luck on those shocks Mike , hope you get em working by tomorrow . The track looks fricken AWESOME BTW !

Da track IS sick!!! The quint in the back is the biggest test. The jumps are easy to fly even with 4x4 sect, but speed comes with finess. See you tomorrow?

my buggy is going to gether...er was. i seem to be short the front cvd pins that hold the dog bone to the stub axle. other than that small detail everything has been super. I am having similar experiences on the shocks a little leakage thru the weep hole, have used wrench on the shock body to hold it and then twist the cap as tight as possible. hope to send the body off to get painted soon. Danny, any idea on when extra bodies will be available to purchase?

danny i sent you an email thru the tekno website regarding my shortage.

I know I saw one person mention binding in the steering knuckles, did we figure out whats causing that?

When I put the center diff into the bulkhead I found that the spur hits a little on the top plate. I saw someone post about counter sinking the holes will fix that, which holes are being referred to.

Overall I've had very few problems with this build. Just minor clearance issues. Those rear camber links were a beast to get into the bearing carrier.

Rear camber links-if you try from the top down they are a bear. however if you start at the bottom of the rear hub they seem to slide up into the correct location easier. it is like the rear hub is tapered wide bottom narrower at top. hope this makes sense.......
