im totally bummed that Billy Easton isn't racing in the IFMAR Worlds in Argentina later this year... my gut tells me he didn't approve of the 'sport' models recently coming out... and my other gut tells me he had a rough time at the ROAR natz
... which is why I have this theory about top drivers doing well at warm-up races...

If you get the new gears it is the same process except you don't use any washers inside the diffs and you need to go up 2000-4000 cst to get the same feel as the old gears.

You want to fill the diffs like the truggy picture, just over the cross pins. If you fill it too much you'll warp the washers inside easier and possibly have some pressure issues when the diffs heat up and they can lock up.

Agreed but do the truggies have warped wahers or had pressure issues ? I ask the question because the truggys came out later than the Ebuggy so maybe it's a diff building update. If I am not mistaking there is a youtube video where Losi diff are built like that (oil over gears).

Practiced today with a buddy of mine who was also running the 811E. We got the cars running extremely well. We really nailed good setups. Now its time to lay down some hot runs this coming weekend at our club race. SHould be alot of fun. This car pretty much drives itself.

Gotta say that I am highly impressed with the 811E. I bought a used on last week and had 1 day to get it ready before the Futaba E Challenge. I was going to convert my losi 8 2.0 but decided to go with the Serpent insteed. I have not driven E buggy in more than a year and have only raced 3 times this year due to running my own track. The buggy handles like a dream and is easy to drive. I am very happy that I decided on the 811E. I ended up with a 4th place finish in Pro buggy and just couldn't be happier.
