Gone back & forth with the lite weight deal .
The debate still rages on & on ...

More weight or less , neither can prove one is faster than the other .

Personally favor 1 or 2oz's over minimal weight .

I drilled from the top down. When I cut out the template it fit right in the chassis. So I would call it more centered than forward or back. Maybe slightly forward.

I really wanted to try the 1s battery idea, but I didn't have time to figure out the mounting, so I just put the AE brackets in for regular saddles.

When I was using stock pistons 32.5 front and 27.5 worked well for me.

(As stated, since you read what you 'want' to read, I don't plan on leaving because I no longer have the ride, I still wish to help people who are steer'd wrong by you. ) Don't worry WC, I won't leave ya'.

Your chest puff and self martyrdom won't work with me.

In all reality, I am just punching WC in the shoulder when there's a chance. I'm sure the guy
'in person' knows what he's doing. I'm just tired of the AE-jerk off.

I get a thread for me? I'm...

I think I'm one of the rare few who have tried the Exotek chassis and didn't like it... Sold it in the end.

For me my times were slower, I felt it made the truck to 'boaty' and slow to respond, also my consistency struggled.

I run mostly on:

- a medium sized, medium grip, rough track, big jumps
- a small-medium sized, very high grip, very smooth, technical track

For me a very light set-up works best.

I don't remember saying I don't like or approve , but do remember saying Exotechs extra weight was not making a difference compared to adding weight to the plastic chassis .

But look at the Exotech's chassis stiffness...

It is very good & should help handling and the real reason to buy & use IMO..
