Yup the springs are definitely a pain... I can't even set proper ride height in the back with Whites using a shorty!

What spring cups are you guys running? I've got red springs on the front of my car, and my collars are almost to the top to achieve proper ride height. I have yellow in the rear and there about a quarter of a inch down from the top. Maybe you guys have way to much down travel or the wrong spring cups.

A) Losi Cups and B) Down travel has nothing to do with that.

In your case it doesn't, but down travel does affect how much pre load you have on your springs, which might be the case with Eli's shocks. I'm running 24 mm ride height all the way around, inside hole on tower inside hole on arm out back with the shorty pack. What hole on the tower and arm are you running?

I'm trying to get a list of part numbers for the tri-nitride ballstuds. the book lists long studs in the build pictures but then short in the back of the book. wtf? Anyone? looking for a full set.

Yup, droop has no effect on that whatsoever. Whole location can, but not droop.

Default car pics

Here's some pics I snapped of my B4.1 WE. Sorry it's not perfectly clean...straight off the track from practice last week.

I am running pre-production spring cups and upper collar adapters. The upper adapters fit directly over the AE kit shock collars. If you want to run the inside hole in the front tower, you have to shave the tower, or space the shock top back.

Default Cleaning car after race?

This is my first post and had a question. How does everyone clean their b4 after each race? Do you do a complete tear down and clean everything? Or just take the tires of and clean with a rag and some simpler green? Thanks for any replies.

I've got a b4.1 WE with kyosho BB's running yellows in front and red in rear...

Yall think the avid springs would be better than kyosho?

Yellows seem really hard to be running up front. I have been running the Kyosho spring combo white up front and gold rear. works well. I think the Avid's are close to the Kyosho springs, but the Kyosho's might be a bit more progressive.
