I am running the 0* aluminum rear hubs and for now I have the AE hex adapters on until the Avid wheels come out and I'll buy their rear hexes. I was at one shim on the inside and two on the outside of the axle. I wouldn't exactly call my "driving style" professional. I am three seconds on the fastest lap behind TQ and wrecking is a part of my game. The Ohio RC Factory is a big technical track and this layout has some good air to it. There are two triples and one of them is good size. I now see there are two different bearing spacer. What is the one I need?
This is not an issue with Avid's bearings. I have been using them for a while and I have had one fail quickly after installing it. This is something I am doing and I want to figure out what it is and change it.

Hey all!
I recently purchased a brand new 4.1 worlds kit and am starting the build. I see mention of shaving the rear brace to lower the ball, this makes a lot of sense to me.
What I am wondering is I see a few flat braces, aluminum, that can be bought. Does this do the same thing? Why bother shaving when you can buy a made piece?
Just seeing if it is worth the work or not...
This would be an example of the upgrade - http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...race-Gun-Metal
It gives you an extra adjustment and is flat.
BTW - I was excited to learn about using Kyosho springs on the V2 shocks... I have all the springs already from my 4wd machine.

Why spend 15 bucks on something I can shave for free. and If I want it back to stock I just add 2 .030 washers.
I don't see what your problem is.
I can see you being sarcastic not sure where that post is coming from? someone piss in your koolaid?
Hey man! All I did on my original post is express my disappointment at how long it's going to take to get them BB's, by merely saying "Ah man"...and that is all I was doing Brent. Now, if the person comes back with "that's what I said" then It appears to be a smart a$$ remark in my eyes. So...I will take the high road, and tell you my bad and let's move on. P.S. get them Avids, you WILL like them.
