Why is it that they don't have their posts blocked? Just my 2 cents.

Not saying that you copied anyone but you came out with your clutch basket well after MTK did and just changed your design a little bit. you have some good ideas and product, like the lower tensioner and the custom sway bar's with the different thicknesses. Also, as some others stated, help people out that ask question, especially about your producs. Mantis and MTK are very good about doing this. "Your doing good things man, keep at it, never give up", (haha, my cpt. told me this today, made me feel good, thought I would share).

also, what are your race time's? i.e. 5 minute eat's, 10 minute mains. I ask because I tried a 540 6.5 on a large with my 60c 5500 mAh 7.4v Reedy lipo on a large 1/8th scale track (35 sec laps) I could barely make a 5 minute heat. With my 550 4.5 Reedy sonic and same battery, I can do almost 15 minutes. havent gotten a full run with my 5200 saddle in yet though.

I have talked with Marcus and Billy both on the phone personally. They are BOTH GREAT guys and BOTH bring great products to the table in my opinion. (MTK makes a great product also and I run his basket just never chatted with him.) Marcus actually called ME to make sure I was not having any troubles with his products and asked if I had questions about the pistons or rack. I e-mailed Billy how his front slipper worked and he called me and we talked about it. Who the heck does that?!! All three have done a nice job getting their idea's to the masses in such a short time. Remember this truck is only 8 months old to the public and at the time to AE was a finished product.

Lets face it the internet is a trashy place to live sometimes. Not everyone wants to be here and argue about their products. Even Chris from AE follow's this mess and he said he will help when asked but will not get into a keyboard battle over the product.

Krio, are you talking about the screws on the top brace that holds the servo brackets or the screws on the brackets that attach to the servo?

Thanks for all the responses. I have tried moving the servo forward a little, moved the servo as far left as it will go. The servo horn still rubs slightly. Any other ideas before I Drexel something? During the rebuild I installed new: Exotek, front and rear chassis plates and braces, new servo mounts, new steering assembly and bearings. Using the same servo horn and servo. ?????

No one is "hateing" on him. We are all being homest. It's called "constructive critiscism" Just being honest is better than beating around the bush anyday.

rules of thumb anyone?
I have run 540 2 pole form the start. I like the 5.5 more than my 6.5 but the 6.5 is smoother. I pretty much run 15 to 16/93 for gearing. You WILL want to add a fan. With a good fan temps will not be an issue. In my video a few pages back I was running a Murfdogg 5.5 geared 16/93, Tekin speedo in dual mode at 80, temps were barely warm after the race.

what kind of track do you run on normally? (tight, open, high traction, avg lap times, you get the idea) and what are your normal race times for heats and mains.

45x100 indoor 14.5 lap times, 75x90 outdoor 21.? lap times (if I remember right, outdoor season was 6 months ago,) . I have run a larger 1/8 track too. Same gearing, I just dialed up some turbo with a .5 delay and ran with the 4 poler's down the straight.

pricewise i wonder if it would be cheaper to just buy the exotek inline conversion and drill the holes needed.
