In this case the pieces are tight. I already put the 18mm screws in so there is no gap, but my experience was much like yours.

Thanks! I admit, I'm a few days behind on the thread, but will say I have ready this bad boy from page 1.

The 12mm screws is what I was thinking and it's also what someone at Exotek suggested. I think I'll go this route, though it means I need to order 12mm screws :-(

Has anyone else encountered this?

I would provide a picture, but I don't have enough posts to do so.
I put in 12mm instead, no problems.

I don't know what size screws I use for the chassis since I also did a stainless screw conversion. I guess it must have been 12mm.

You seemed interested in it when a different member had an idea about it....

I don't recall that at all, I said "unless" and no one had mentioned my 'wish' before that in regards to the item.

I think you're going to get votes from each style. I run the B44 with no issues for esc clearance. I run esc on the slipper side and the rx on motor side and it all feels balanced. My friend runs the exotek style down the center. We each like our own setups.

Thanks, I really like the reflex racing one. I am a little worried that it uses regular screws instead of thumb screws, don't want to strip one of those. What are the part # for the B44 conversion?

Maybe I did not explain it well enough; it is meant to tease a little with more info to come when we have it.

It is another option for putting power down where you need when you need it. Not for every person's driving style or needs. Just like everything else we have available to us. I personally have tried many different ways to make a more adjustable front clicker set up. Each failed due to my limited equipment. So I personally would like to try the V2 design and want to drive an adjustable front slipper to see how that will work for my track needs.

I also want to try a V2 center diff because that sounds like a great idea too. I am not going to dismiss the design just because I don't know how RCShox is making it happen or how it will help me on NW tracks yet.

The Losi XX4 has an adjustable clicker and it works so well Losi is back drving it again.

Remember the Hydra drive. Worked great some tracks and just extra weight on others.
