This is how much it would cost me, and individual, to ship something. Who knows... maybe HobbyPro gets discounts; but it could cost much more.
It's on the USPS website. You can send up to 4 pounds for $16.95. It's no magic discount. Go try it. No need for insurance with eBay and PayPal buyer protection these days. Australians by law don't have to pay for something if it doesn't arrive.

I been experimenting the suggested. Not all but some of it.
Only the OS 2060 pipe is the best combo so far.

As I said, an engine will NOT fit in any kind of package that is the $16.95 rate. USPS works by the girth of the box + weight. You either need the medium flat-rate box or just ship in the engine box itself (which rounds-up to the medium flat-rate price). The only possible way one could get the $16.95 rate is make an envelope look all kinds of retarded so it passes as an 'envelope'.

This isn't the correct place to debate shipping prices, so I'm going to stop. If it bothers you, inquire with the eBay seller why he wants $38...

Not sure why you are debating this. I can see the option for flat rate box priority international is $32.25 if that's the one you want to send it in it's still not $38... but express is $38.18. Yes i had an engine arrive in the envelope for $16.95. The box for the arrow is very slim compared to say an os engine which is more cubic. I will happily accept the humiliation of it arriving in an envelope to save $21. Others may not. Just offer it as an option is all I'm saying. And why not offer the option for the slow delivery for $11.95?

Edit. Here is a how to video.

Just add bubble wrap.

What pipe is the best fit for this motor? I have an OS2060 and Losi RE11. I plan on getting the gen 2 case and get this motor back in working order. I will put this in my truggy and try that out or sell it with truggy.

This is not the place to discuss USPS shipping prices, this is to discuss the Arrow engine.

But to answer your question, the shipping prices are calculated by Ebay, not the seller. http://payments.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...pingCalculator

We just enter the weight and size of the item - no prices. Total shipping costs calculated by Ebay during checkout includes handling fee, insurance, ect, so the price will be more then the base rate online.

1st class international and flat rate priority do not provide tacking #'s, and can take up to 90 days for delivery. That makes the buyer very angry and causes them to leave negative feedback and open complaints/cases with Ebay and Paypal against the seller even though the seller has nothing to do with shipping rates or slow shipping times. Be very careful when using anything less then regular USPS Priority Mail shipping, because if your package is lost, it can't be found and no insurance is offered by USPS, so you will be out of luck and out $200+.

I shipped one package to China in a Flat Rate box, and it took 6 months to arrive there. By then I had already refunded the money to the buyer and was out $90 for the lost item. I refuse to lose money again because of shipping problems, so we will not refund anything else due to lost mail. Use cheap shipping at your own risk!

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but i have in front of me the flat rate padded bag. Even my O.S. box fits in fine and it's an inch taller than the Arrow box. Website quotes 6-10 days delivery NOT 90 days lol. Just trying to help you sell more engines man. I've already got mine. In Australia we need to order almost everything from overseas so $40 shipping is a deal breaker. It's your job not mine to work all this out. I never intended to debate this but people keep it going. Give up.

Thank you. I got about 12 minutes with a 6.5 mm venturi.
Yes I agree with Mark. The engine is awesome.
No flame out. Very good on the temperature and power.
Only works real well with 2060.

Well that was fast! The ebay listing has been updated with other shipping options.... Not the one I was referring to though. Would have thought the padded priority mail envelope would be the choice as it's much faster delivery time than the first class mail option now on there. Still I may now be able to justify ordering another one .

On another note the arrow website says they are developing a matching pipe for the GTR.. Anyone have any details about it or know when it might be available?
