That sounds like a pretty good deal right there.

I've done it. I have not seen a "huge" difference, nor will I say it was worth the money to convert. It's just a different feel. A little smoother here and there. I personally just like them bc they don't rub the shock bodies and they are a little longer than stock ae springs so it takes less preload.

The shade of color will vary by the length of time you soak it.

ps- I used alligator clips. Makes the job even more simple!

Almost as if un even pressure is being applied to the slipper. Any thoughts?
that's happened to me before and I'm 90% sure it will be the top shaft.

Default Losi Spring help

Hey guys, got the Losi BB springs on my B4.1 and I love them for sure.. however I have one problem. The ride height in the front is too high. I'm using the traxxas collars and the springs are at full extension. I'm running the orange up front and pink in rear.. pretty planted for the track I run at.

27.5 oil in front and 30 rear.

I'm sure its something obvious I'm missing, are people compressing them a good bit before using?

Thanks

shave the top of the collar down. Go back and look at it again and you'll see what I mean (Or just get the GHEA ones)

is a good deal but about 50 cents more then at Tower Hobbies after discounts.

On a side note..... I did some of the anodizing of the Titanium turnbuckles as posted a page or so back.

What pistons in the front? I have #2 with 30wt and losi orange springs. Using the Traxxas spring collars I can get ride height with about 2 threads showing above the collar. No sure if the losi bottom cups are lower if you are using the Traxxas ones that might be the difference.

Ok I'll shave the "lip" of the traxxas collar and see if that helps.. thanks Bob.

I'm using the #2 pistons and my turn in was a joke because my ride height was higher in the front than the rear.. still better than AE springs though so I can't complain.

Are you sure you don't have the oils backwards on that?

so eight 9v is gold (72 volts)

has anyone tried to do a "darker" blue then the stock because every chart i see is ~54v (six 9v) for a light blue, or ~108v (twelve v9) for a darker blue.

mostly want to try to get my racers edge hubs blue think im going to try tonight

Thanks for the info... I think I may hold off on it and focus on some other things for now. Ive always been a sc guy so I need some guidence on buggy setup, please bear with me haha:

- What spacer(s) should I be using for a spectrum servo? Im not running any right now, but im not sure if that is right.

- At the track I ran at, the owners wife was taking pics and in all the pics my buggies front end is dipping down in the turns and on the jumps, is that supposed to do that?

- My buggy was pushing extremely bad through the turns, would the above issues cause that? Ill attatch a few pics to show what im talking about.

Current setup is 30wt front, 25wt rear with the pistons in the assembly bag (not the ones on the parts tree), 0* front toe, 2* camber front
